i hifonics stick to brutus line. Closest to doung rated. The ppi black ice are over rated but are still putting out good power for the price

Brx are decent, Brz are better. I'm running the brx2000.1 and getting around 1700rms@1ohm. The clamp tests on the ba7000.1 showed it did very well.

I just wasn't looking to spend over $500 so was looking for thoughts. I was looking at 1800 rms but someone I trust said I should go around 2200 with a cleaner higher priced amp. I had planned on a brutus or ppi around 1800 but wondering if I should just save up for a better amp. Thoughts on an amp around 2200rms ohm probably around $500-$700? I haven't purchased the subs yet wanted to decide on the amp before I saddled myself to an ohm.

you can find soundqubed 2200.1Ds popping up here for around 300-400$ used

I still find it funny people think the PPI amps are good. Enjoy your soundstream/power acoustic amps. I'll pass
