Maybe it is just our UPS store then because I know a ton of people that have had issues with them and I have never heard of them paying out a claim, everytime I used to go in there I would hear someone yelling at them about an issue similar to mine. Thats why i use DHL/Fedex now

x2. i've h ad many o claims to deal with both ups and fedex. ussually they are good, sometimes you have to keep bugging them.

Yeah called UPS already. It was packed by a UPS store, have had good luck with a previous claim. They broke a RE XXX and payed out after about 3 weeks. Just take detailed pics before letting them have items back.

get proof that they picked it back up as well.

if they give you any slack on paying you threaten to go to the Attorney General for Consumer Affairs and tell them you are filing a formal complaint against them for fraudently offering insurance which you paid for and are now refusing to honor their contractural obligations

truth fully though. i'm pretty sure the packaging was poor. i've mailed a few subs out and each have arrived immaculate. UPS has some fault to it, but the sender is also at fault not for packing it properly.

i sent a CN Sounds 18 to a guy in a wooden crate. It was supposed to take 3 days to get there,i got a phone call from UPS a week later, there was a problem i need to come pick up the package from the terminal.

What i got back was a motor and 3/4 of a basket. NO wooden crate, NO soft parts. They told me it was improperly packaged, fought with them for 3 months, never paid out.''

I've had an open claim with UPS for about 3 months now. IMO they have a horrible claim system. I just called them and they said they are waiting for the UPS to provide feedback on the package info. that shouldn't take 3 months.

Now I know the bug them now. I want my 2nd IDQ to complete the lows!

FedEx is just as bad.

I think they intentionally throw boxes around because most drivers hate thier own jobs....
