Wow. That's not exactly a horn and Yes, James Carroll has forgotten more about audio (period) than many of us can ever hope to know. He was one of the founders of Bazooka. He also holds a PHD.
You could do worse than to have him doing the install on your car, but I don't think you could really do much better.
The subs are stout, I've been trying to get them on the east coast for a while, but he will only hand deliver them to a few select dealers, then you have to go through the dealers to get the product.
And that 16 eights has been done before. Twysted Audio - Robert Wyatt has done either 16 or 32 of those True Bass Solutions 8's in the back of a mini truck. He was testing them out one day and **** near killed himself. No joke. He busted an ear drum and had some heart problems. Last I spoke with him, he was bustin 160's... with 8's... He also had a mustang with two of the 10's in a small bandpass box. Anyone that's seen the trunk of the 99-03 mustang knows what I mean when I say small. The box was removeable and the system would play music and break 150 on a termlab at the kicks... With 10's.. and less than 2kw.. Robert knows his stuff when it comes to boxes and particularly bandpass.
If you think those 8's are nice. You should check out their line of 10's... Bad MOFO written all over them.
