Look what $900 gets you.....

That car was meant to be yours, the deal worked out too good. She got her stuff paid and and you got that car for a good deal. Plus all the occuring fees she woulduv ended up payen if that car sat where it was for awhile.

very awesome find

but

that's a serious amount of rust. you're going to need to replace huge amounts of metal on that car, and they don't make very many parts for these cars anymore. good luck with it

For $900 you bought yourself a project. Rust problems are bad to deal with. It's a shame such a nice car wound up in that kind of shape. If it gets too expensive to deal with, at least you have a nice pile of parts to create an SS clone with. That may well be cheaper than doing all the work it will take to get to all the rust that's in this car.

I haven't seen such a rusty Chev since a friend of mine bought a 1973 Monte Carlo over 20 years ago. Like yours, it looked good at a distance but once you saw what was going on, it was flat out scary!

I want a 96 so bad. There usually high as hell with high mile because of their rare. Then its even rare if you can find one in good condition. I cant believe you got so lucky. Now you just have to worry about gas. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
