This guy in an E36 M3 catches a tire to the roof of his car while driving down the highway. He says they never found out where it came from. Atleast that's what I gathered from the first page.

ugh looks like the 880 is getting worse. two days ago going north on the 880.. my car hit a fairly large paint bucket, got lodged under my front bumper, and scrapped down the road for about a mile. scared the $hit of out me

the guy said that they eventually found the other driver. apparently the wheel just screwed onto the hub without lug nuts and then came off, shot up off the median, and landed thru the roof of the car. ****ing rediculous
