Look at this 1/0 I just bought

wow man, that is awsome. I had no idea.
So what do you think about 1/0 accessories. Do you think that 2/0 welding cable from that place will fit in the 1/0 direct power input on my amp?
If you amp will accept Knu's Kollossus or Kickers Hyperflex, then it should accept the 2/0ga welding wire. I do not have an amp that will accept 1/0ga wire at the moment to test fit it on. If someone want to send me an amp that will accept 1/0ga wire, I will be happy to test fit the 2/0ga welding wire.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Great idea, mine is in the mail as of 2 minutes ago. LOL.

I might just mess around and get some 2/0 then if this stuff is much smaller than the amp's max size.

Here is the info for that company on Ebay that is selling the wire. He sent me about 18in of each size for free when I asked. Just ask him to send you some 1/0ga and 2/0ga, because you need to compare them. He actually sent me four different sizes for free. The one pc of 1/0ga was around 2.5ft that he sent me. They always have over runs and cancelled orders. He may be able to get you some cheaper if you ask for that. It may have some companies name on it or change colors in the middle of the run.

i'm buying some but I dont know what I should inscribe on it lol.
Honestly man, wait till I get mine. I will play guinea pig for ya. QtrHorse already has though so nevermind that. I had them put my screen name on mine "OneKrazyKeebler" just for shits and giggles kuz I couldn't think of anything better.

Like I said, the Knu wire has a lot of smaller strands that compressed very easily. The welding wire uses 30ga individual strands and most amp wire is 34ga and Knu uses 36ga. Kicker and Lighting Audio use that heavy rope lay pattern, which makes the wire actually look bigger than it really is because it will not compress that easily and has some small gaps in between each larger section of wire. The welding wire and Knu wire is not wound into larger sections like the others, so it compresses smaller and more easily.

The Lighting Audio wire was the hardest to fit in the crimp rings and then the Kicker and Knu were basically the same.

To be honest, I was somewhat dissapointed when I finally received my Knu Kollossus wire. I thought it was going to be huge from the way everyone talked about it and after talking directly w/ Knu.
