Today I got the forum b-day email and decided to check out the place after being gone for over 5 years. Here's what I saw on the home page when I first logged in:

Wow, is that a lot of water under the bridge or what? Since time has passed I see a lot of changes here on the site. There have been changes for me too. Someone rear-ended my 1991 Cadillac Brougham about three years ago. I bought a 1995 Sedan DeVille and transferred the Pioneer/Alpine system to it. Since 1995's don't have 4x6's I had to get a pair of new speakers and went with Alpine's second best component 2-ways. They sound good!
For more tech stuff I got a CB base station set up with a linear and a dipole but then just after completing the station, I ran across an old family friend from way back (40 years) who had helped me get into ham radio. That led to me taking the tests and getting my Extra class license so I sold off the CB station and put together an amateur radio station! Back as a teen I had a Novice class license so I like to joke that I went from Novice to Extra in one easy step. It just took me 40 years...LOL!
Now to see what's shakin' and bakin' in the car audio universe these days. Do we still play 8-tracks? I kid, I kid!
