im looking at the base model corvette right now and it says 27 highway, and 17 city at only 400 horsepower so i gotta figure another 100 hp thats gotta change a little.

that will be changing next year though.

i know for a fact the only IRS ***** am was the ws6 the corvettes use IRS i believe....

but you gotta respect a 4 cylinder that is roughly 600 horsepower that can get 25 mpg lol any 600 horse v8 ur only racing from gas station to gas station.....

My old turbo setup with descent tune(on my safc2) my best mpg was 17 city 24ish hi way and i dynod a year ago 352 hp... i have friend with bad *** evo that gets terible gas milage stock car other then sum bolt ons..any 600hp turbo 4 banger is shoving lots of fuel into the motor and its deffnly not pump gas ither... And then there the turbo v8 guys on ls1tech... heh these guys throw sts turbo kits on stock vettes and gain 200 hp and gain 2-3 mpg ^_^ Iv evin seen turbo 800+ hp f body average 22 mpg high way soo yah.. ur thinking is very flawd.. id do sum research on ls1tech.. LS series motors are great on gas evin moded..

WS6 are GM F cars and therefore have never had IRS

but yes, Corvettes have had IRS for decades

to everyone posting videos, that is completely pointless, i could find plenty of videos, showing both "rice" beating "muscle" or the other way around, videos are completely irrelevant.

anyway, i know that my car's don't handle all that well, but they handle just fine for daily driving which is what your car is going to be doing 95% of the time.

and yes, the word "ricer",to me anyway is more talking about the driver than the car, i have a friend who drives a talon that he made fast and i don't call it ricer, i call it fast, then i have a friend who drives a golf, his car is not fast at all, but it has graphics, racing seats, etc, his car i call a ricer.
