lol @ the idiots thinking f bodys and fox's can handle

So your FWD car can defy the laws of physics now?
Wow. Just wow.

Stock 4th gen f-bodies, with good drivers, have ran high 12s stock right off the showroom floor. Yeah, that's not very fast at all //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

How fast did your Maxima go stock?

Yeah, I'm sure it launches just as fast as rwd cars... I'm surprised more people don't use it in professional drag racing, those guys must be f'in morons! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

That is exactly what you said here:

That sure looks like you said no streetable car could beat you. When I gave examples, you backtracked on what you said.

Like I said before, I've been lucky enough to drive some very fast cars in my life so far. I have been around turns so fast it takes all of your effort to keep your head from smashing out the driver side window. My f-body is not even close to those cars, but for being 1/10th the price, I think the handling capabilities are awesome.
No it doesn't defy the laws of physics. You don't even know what the laws of physics are, so how can you say its impossible? With the right suspension and tire combo, sure it can launch just as fast as a RWD. And I didn't say that any streetable car can't beat me. How are you going to quote me and not even read the quote? I said there is no streetable ***** AM that can beat me. You need to sit in a corner.

dynojet is more accurate
you sir are incorrect, a dynojet puts no resistance into the equation, so yea, if you're floating, you're making the power, but if you're floating, hows that power being transferred to the road.

"I have a DynoJet run of 405 hp at the wheels and just got a 358 hp run from the Mustang."

My point proven, you are confused I think. The dynojet reads a higher horspower number, isnt that opposite of what you said.... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

if diesel could go ahead and tell me what makes me a ricer i would really appreciate it.

He can't tell you, just like he can't tell me. "You act like one" How does a ricer act? I love all cars, but I have been involved with them enough to know what is impossible and what is feasible. If it hasn't been done yet, its time for you to engineer it.

The only difference between the two is that vehicle weight is measured on a Mustang dyno. Vehicle weight is input from the operator on a dynojet. Every dyno jet dyno that I have been to weighs the car before hand. Why was your run inaccurate then?

I'm still sticking with a 2V GT with a Kenne Bell supercharger and Maximum Motorsports Maximum Grip Box. Plans are on the way to buy the car this summer, and upgrades will begin soon after.

Here you go. Those Kenne Bell's are fast as hell! Just poking fun at ya.

Yeah, most of the F-Bods are like that. But most of these people saying they can't handle worth shit haven't even driven one. Or if they have they don't know how to drive. But, as I said before, I don't care what anybody thinks, I never did have an import beat me in my old car...the closest was a turbo-charged civic as stated earlier...and that was five ties in a row. But he had I think 18G's under the hood...with that kind of money I could have made my T/A blow any rice burner away by a long shot.
Point is, F-Bods may not handle as well, but they can handle enough. Very rarely in a race will you be caught up in twisties, and if the proper driver is behind the wheel that should be no problem. End of Story.

****ing Ricers.
but you gotta respect a 4 cylinder that is roughly 600 horsepower that can get 25 mpg lol any 600 horse v8 ur only racing from gas station to gas station.....

There are a lot of modern V8s that get 30mpg //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

The C6 Z06 gets 26mpg highway with 505hp //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif It doesn't even have DoD either.
