my favorite is everyone telling me about their "old system" or their "brother's system" that blew out the back window of their truck. i seriously got 4 or 5 different people tell me the same story at the last car show i went to...

A guy told me that he had two solo barics 12" L7s underneath the seat in his Ford extended cab truck.

So I said,

"so you like Kicker subwoofers?"

and he began to argue that they weren't Kicker, that they were Solo Barics and Solo Baric was a company but Kicker made them originally in the past but he had the solo baric brand ones which were better than normal kicker ones.

Found out he didn't even have any subwoofers in his truck.

At my school, everybody has volfs, bahns, pyle, lightnings, pyramid, and duals all in prefab sealed or prefab bandpass. its fun to run against them

That sounds like a pretty good thing. I usually say I got some replacement pioneers from best buy.

I used to just say, "nah it's all stock." but then I realized how many people think bose is actually decent so I started using that instead.

at our local "hangout" local kid w/ 4 audiopipe 15s and 25,000 watts in amps ( top of the line audiopipe, 2 per sub ) keeps pestering me to hear my stuff the night before local competition, all his boys are like his shits gonna beat yours out of the park, blah blah blah.

Show up at the show the next day, sandbagged and did a 157.3 he did a 155, definatley not horrible. I go over to mine and put the daily port in and beat him by 13 db in "drive by"
