LOL @ RD Audio & if RD owes you something (RD super fail topic)

The SHW's I ran for a year did the job, no question on that....took a massive amount of my abuse. Now however getting parts for them after I wanted to recone them to quads was the biggest clusterfuck ive ever delt with any company with, of course with Atomic comming in a close second. all of the V1 stuff is good because its basically atomic equipment on the basic zenon amps... anything after i haven't touched and refuse to because of Customer Service... I had way to may problems in the past

Thats total crap I was involved in an unrelated recall, they shipped me the new product and told me to toss the old one out. I still have the old one.. lol

It was a TV and 2 buttons get stuck on the set that would not allow it to turn on, so I just the remote and still got it.. lol Thats customer service I had to wait a 3 days to get the new tv thats it.

No one should have to pay shipping back for a bad product, I don't care if he is paying shipping back to them or not. It's his product his name on it, he should have tested it, if he did not thats his fault not the customer that spent there money with him. That's B.S. he best be careful as a class action lawsuit would kill him personally and his business not good for any one but it could happen simply because the way he is handling it. I have never seen something like this handled so badly in my life and I have 4 companies..

Im sorry but this is just hilarious. You call out a company like RD and then say DC FTW. Your right RD has sucked with customer service, they are at least trying. They could have been like IA and when they had a failed product (21" subs for example) they could of ignored all customers and said **** you but atleast they are trying. You guys think he intentionally sold bad amps... which in turn he is loosing tens of thousands on now?
Lets lay out some simple facts on DC:

Nearly all DC products have had some major tinsel slap issues due to poor tinsel sewing and bad planning over all. There products are also nothing special what so ever as they are OEMd by an old RE worker, notice a few things...

Level 3 is a se with some chrome and a bevel

Level 4 is same design but a 190mm motor

Level 4 XL is a MT with a pole vent

Level 5 is a 250mm slugs with a pole vent

Talk as much shit about a company as you want but I find it kind of hypocritical to say stuff like DC ftw lol. Specially when they copy the identical heatsink that RD paid for the tooling on.

I totally agree..atleast they are trying, a lot of companies from time to time have problems with equiptment and 'getting it right'. Better for them to make a move right now and make a small tweak before shit starts blowing up and cost them more under warranty repair on these in the long run. Yes, it will probably cost a lot for them to recall all the amps sold at this level..but, I can gaurantee you they save money in the long run and keep customers coming back. Shit happens..we're all only human & so are the people who run these companies - if you've been in Car Audio long enough you should know..shit breaks and shit is not always as intended. But in these types of recalls it should always be the vendors responsibility to own up, confess and fix at their cost..not the buyers.
