Uhh... i remove my H/U to check out my harnass wires and im confused now. I thought a wire with a red line down the wire is positive? and the wire with no line is negative? In my harnass its backwards.. uhh i still match it right when adding new speaker 16 awg wire for my 4 channel amp?

There's no red stripe on any wire in the universal color code. Do you mean black stripe? Wires with black stripes are normally negative speaker wires.

but on on my speaker wire here for my subs theres a red solid line goind down the wire. i match that up with the red connection right?

in a connecter it is black or red

the wires.. the wire with the red solid line is negative?

and the wire with nothing on it is positive? or the other way around?

use which ever one you want. just make sure it all matches up on either side
