Locked My keys in my Truck

This is why I no longer leave my keys in my car when I'm working on it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif I be sure to leave them either in my pocket or on my workbench.
Only mine was really stupid......I was in my trunk adjusting my gains and what not, with the keys on the trunk floor. Hop out of the trunk, close the lid, hop into the car to listen to the settings, reach into my [empty] pocket to pull out my keys......and then realize that my keys were still on the trunk floor //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Luckily my g/f was home at the time, so I used her spare set to get into my trunk.
i did the same thing awhile back, but i dont have a spare:crying:

I keep a spare attached to my car. If I lock my keys inside, it takes like 15 minutes to crawl under my car and untie it from it's hiding spot on the frame. I've never had to use it, though.

That sucks, could have been worse. You could have locked your keys out of your truck while you were in it.
Is there something about Silverados I'm not being told? If I lock myself in my car, I just push the unlock button and get out.

When i first started driving i was always leaving my keys in m truck and locking the door. So i got a chain to keep my keys attached to my belt loop. Well the chain was a little to long because one time i got out and slammed the locked door wearing the chain with the keys still in the ignition. Felt pretty stupid..

So you locked your keys in the car and yourself to the car that would have been funny to see.

On a side note finished re wiring my mids and highs. they sound awesome but i broke one of the brackets on my b pillar that hot it up at the top of the truck. so i may have to go buy a new one sux!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I assume no trunk release? Or you just got rid of it for "safety", like me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

LMAO o wow... For some weird reason i locked my keys in my suv also.

Here is my stupidity story..

Finish letting my friend listen to my system in my garage. My car is scrunched on the left side of the garage. After my friend closes the right front door he accidently locks it and closes the door. Seeing my keys right on my dash board. I had no spares around for my parents were 30 min down south of where i live. I had no choice so i try breakin in my right side of my car, and nope, not successful. So i give up and wait for my parents. Waiting all night they finally come home and i finally open my car and grab my keys.

Heres the stupid part...

Now that my car is open i go to the f'in left side of my car and my stupid self notices my left front window was open. LMAO!!! I swear, everything was locked and assuming that all the windows were closed. I'm stupid.

Rick, get one of those magnetic key holders and stick it on your frame.

If you ever loose you keys or lock them in something you always have that one. Maybe your saletites were to tight ?

P.S

Figures you broke the B pillar tab, you are so sloppy.
