Location of Engine Block Connection - 2008 STI

I'm doing the big three on my 2008 STI and I am trying to avoid having to take off the intercooler for the engine block connection. Does anyone know where the chassi - Engine Block conenction is? Is there an alternate location?

why dont you just make a new one, add a wire from something like an alternator mounting bolt to the chassis.

this is CA.com, and why not just runa a differnt chassis ground if you cant reach the factory one, most of the time the factory ground is just cost effectively placed. there are plenty of good chassis grounds.

Im proud of it, only 100 in the whole US...and people have brain farts. That doesn't mean you have to be an ***...

And maybe if there was something constructive in the post instead of you just trying to put me down it wouldn't be such a big deal.

EDIT: Oh the question wasnt me asking How the hell to do the Big Three, I was just looking to see if someone knew off the top of their head an easier way of doing it than taking off the intercooler.

Have you ever seen the engine bay of an STI? Absolutely no access to the engine block. Its a boxer engine so it sits on its side and everything else is on top of it....

uhh making a ground is 101 shit. take off bolt, install contact, reattach bolt.

i understood your question, and ive seen plenty of STI engine bays. it honestly isnt that big of a task. it may not be sitting right in front of you, but it isnt anywhere near impossible to accomplish.

And yes...just pick a different location for the ground.
