on certain songs my subs will distort at max listening volume, they look like they are getting an electric shock for 1second on certain bass notes/songs .

i can play all basstracks, bass i love you..ectect at max lestining volume with bass at +1-4

but on the songs it mess up on bass only at 0.

help me please

fixed

max volume i play the system past 35 the issue occurs 35 of 50 i dont go to max volume

i can drop the volume and up the gain or bass and it comes right back (0 bass boost on amp

quick fix - turn gain and bass boost on the amp ALL the way down, set low pass at 80hz, turn sub control on head unit 75% of max

Turn CD player at 75% max volume (this should be the highest you turn it up)

Slowly bring the gain up until you are happy with the output, do not go more than 75% of max gain - If it clips turn it down and leave it

I would not turn the amps bass boost up unless you really have to, but same thing if it clips turn it down

Even with turning the volume down, upping the gain or bass will still cause your clipping.

You need to set your gain according to your input voltage or you will end up smoking something.

The above steps will help get you very close to where you need to be.

It sounds like you are pushing the amp WAY to hard.

low passs is at 75-80hz set with test tone

amp gain set with dmm

deck volume at 35-37 of 50= 75% it dose it at at 33 and the songs not even loud

when i play bass tracks or other songs i have it at 36 and up the basss to 2-3 and no issues

i love people like this. "hey man gain...wtf is that (turns it) OHHHH its volume dude. ok i want my beastly sony xplods on a 150 watt dual amp to pound like steve meade so lets just turn it all the way up......oh man what went wrong?!?!? i have a sub and an amp cant i just throw them together in the back of my car and make me pound?"

maybe you have the wrong polarity? you could TRY switching the pos/neg on one sub and see what happens

Again, your amp is clipping. You may have already damaged your amp.
You say that you set your amp with a meter. How did you go about this?
50hz tone no subs connected

2nd amp brand new

I LOL'D HARD (not at you op) HA HA HA

50 hz tone with boost up? bass up? settings? was the tone at 0db, 5db, 10db. All of this makes a big difference.

The "electric shock" you are referring to sounds like the amp running out of power(power supply)

And what happened with the first amp?
