I think thats what its called, line out converter. Am i right in that you get one of these and can hook up a sub and amp to a stock car stereo. My dad has a 2004 Nissan titan and wants 1 10" and some amp but really doesnt want to put a new deck in it, so do i get one of these to do it? If so than how do these LOC's work?

first, go to http://www.davidnavone.com/adaptor_products.htm and get yourself a good 2 channel or 4 channel LOC if you decide to ever amp the speakers too get the 4 ch.

Then go to BB or CC and get both the send and return harness for your stock radio.

You can now tap into the speaker lines WITHOUT damaging any stock wiring. You can also go back later and amp the speakers and bring the amp outputs right back into the factory wiring.

With the RCA's AND the remote lead, you can wire up an amp to power subs.

Run your stock HU bass at 0 from now on. Make sure your sub amp has a LPF too since you're a sending full range signal to the amp.

Bass blockers would be a good thing to add to the stock speakers that this point too. They fit right into the intermediate harness.

That'll get ya started.
