LOC terminology question

Sup guys, I just got my Navone Engineering LOC today. I have a question about something in the manual though. It says "Leave Trim Pots at Maximum Level", please explain this to me. Thanks

are you talking about a high to low converter. if yes i dont see why it says that, unless youre not reading the whole thing. those have to be adjusted just like a gain have to, leaving it at full blast can send a cliped signal to the amp and then it wont matter what setting you put your gain on the amp to it will always amplify a cliped signal. wich is even worst then making the amplifier clip by it self.

highly not recomended.
