LMT recone???

so, since the LMT technology is basically founded in the shape of a voice coil, would it be possible to send TC sounds a sub for a recone w/lmt VCs?

not that any of you actually know.

In all likelyhood; No, since it's proper function still relies on 1) Proper gap height, and 2) the gap needed for a LMT coil is probably wider than what most subwoofers have.

There's my guess.

I doubt they could just recone any woofer with LMT. If you had a TC based motor that they also do an LMT coil for, sure, it could probably be done, but the question is whether or not TC would be willing to do it.
