God awful bass

I just installed one of these-

And a 100 watt RMS (@8ohms mono) amp for a customer today.

After I was finished I started to tune the system as best as I could, the factory speakers had deeper louder bass. The subs just push air out the ports without creating any low frequencys, terrible enclosure design, lots of cancellation and the stupid neon rings didn't work, pure junk.

I felt bad for the guy, but my job is to install thats it, hopfully he comes back to get some real subs hooked up, the amp he had can put out 200watts RMS so he could put a proper sub and box if he wanted.
