anyone have any expierence with em? are they nice for gettin low and movin some air? would you rather run 2 IA Li 12s then one of these? for those who want the specs, in the trunk, wired to 1 ohm gettin 1500 watts, custom enclosure...go

They are awesome for low bass. The thing about them is that you can't play them up high because they have tons of inductance.

Their impedance rises faster with frequency than other subs. The LMS 5400 AKA LMS Ultra is much better than the LMS-R in that regard, but also costs more.

I wouldn't take ANY number of LI's over an LMS-R.

Lol I've heard from various people that they rolloff around 80hz or so. Also, to the op's question, I would go for 2 Flatlynes or maybe a Death Penalty 15 if you are going the IA route.

i wish i could lol but my budget for subs will be 400 max. i would like to keep it under that
