Looks great! What kind of finish did you put on the box? Bed liner? I can't tell if its glossy or flat from the picture though

LOL yeah looks can be deceiving I measured it with a tape measure. I'll have to measure the space between my woofers. Your port is 8 inches across but you box is only 2.25" wider than mine?

Its actually almost 9"

Cool, I was looking for a way to finish my new box besides felt. I've used felt on most of my old ones and its always a pain to get the seams right

Yea u could probably get by with a 6.5-7..but ince u mock up the final size .get with dcarcustoms on maf.com and he does designs for 10 bucks..thats who designed that one ..crazy output for a pair of 12s

Decided I' am going to go sealed. I don't wanna just stuff a box in there or build one and hope I can jam it in there lol. Would have to be very close size wise to make it work. Should be plenty loud enough for me not looking for some rap banger you can here 2 miles away and I rarley listen to any r&b much less rap though I do listen to Matisyahu a sealed should be fine for my needs. Got everything but the box and the singer alt now. Talked to Cherry just waiting on the sub maker to supply some specs. Probably looking at around 3 cubes. Anyone have a sealed to show?

Anyone have any advice for an amp rack? battery tray ? I will be running a Kenwood Excelon XCR400/4 and a SQ 2200D. Anyone care to share pictures of their amp racks? Since I got the space I might run another battery in the trunk for the Singer to charge besides the Bosch group 75 in the engine bay it's the Singer 320.

My car is at the shop for the weekend, but I'd take a picture of my amp rack on Monday if you wanted. I bent aluminum to make brackets to put my SAX 125.2 on top of my Banda 5k between the front seats
