i don't, BUT, he did win lyricist of the year, which means people actually enjoy listening to that mono-tone mo-foSo you like lyrical rappers?
Well please tell me your not putting Wayne in this catergory........
Wayne has some good beats.......that is about it and that isn't usually on him, but other people in the producers and what not.
Wayne is popular with the younger generation, but he will go down as one of the most overrated rappers of all time.
If he would get the cawk-n-balls out his mouth and some of the million tattoos off him, he might not be so bad with the beats he has.
Thank You...thats what I was trying to explain...he isnt in my top 10 best lyricist but he knows how to work...and you cant hate on him for knowing how to get money...what ppl fail to realize is, that this music game, is a CAREER!! How do you judge a good Career? MONEY!!! If you want to make money, you have to put out songs that ppl will pay to see. Thats what Wayne do. I agree, his lyrical skills would not make hime the best, but far far very far from the worse. Add his lyrics, his inovation and the fact that he can make a rock song a hit on 106 and park. And you have yourself one hell of a bussiness man and a sucessful CAREER!!!
When I was in grammer school I could go line for line with Twistas lyrics...thats how much I use to listen to him...and thats how I kinda got my username cuz my friends use to call me Twista cuz of how good I could rap his lyrics lol....Oh and what is sad is I could understand Twista more than I could Wayne.........and Twista IIRC is one of the worlds fastest rappers.
That is how bad waynes voice is to me, lol!
eminem is disappointing now..99.9% of the good lyrical rappers, are not as sucessful as lets say the other rappers that change with the time. My fav rapper out now is Jadakiss. He is somewhat sucessfull, but not like 50 cent. 50 lyrics are garbage BTW. The only guys that had made that mark and still is a beast is jay-z and eminem!!!
50 cent was a one hit wonder...hes a nobody now...50 Cent was lyrical, just like many rappers. He just realized that lyrics don't sell. Catchy hooks and good beats do. He's sitting in his mansion counting 200+ million why people on the internet are calling him trash, a sell out and snitch. Who really won here? Lol
He sold too much to be a one hit wonder.50 cent was a one hit wonder...hes a nobody now...
glad to see making money is more important than putting out good music. Thats why rappers like Styles P get a shitload more respect from me. He not out for the money hes doing it cause he loves rapping.Yea I like Twista ive heard all his shit since tung twista as he was one of the first rappers that got me into hip hop. I never said I liked wayne....I use to like the old school wayne back in the SQ mixtape days but he just kept falling more and more off afterwards....The only thing I like about wayne now a days is the fact that he knows how to stay in the game and get money which most of these rappers cant do now a days...and he has a big selection of hot *** beats....The time frame that I was born around I didnt get to listen to all the old school rappers but people that I like to listen to now are Nas, Kanye, Lupe Fiasco and other rappers like Consequence. I like lyrical rappers, rappers that can make you like there song because the lyrics are hot shit and the beat is wack....
