depends on the band. I loved metallica's old stuff (listened to them since ride the lighting was released and even had their no life till leather demo when i was a kid) and havent really liked their last 3 albums. They changed for the worse imho to cater to the commercial side.

I don't really like Jay-Z because I prefer gritty, southern rap (pointless lyrics and such) but I can't stand Lil Wayne. I know all rappers are cocky but for some reason his cockiness annoys me. His music is decent but he is a dumbass. I love the video where he raps about a Yamaha 1100 and in the video he is on a R1 (1000cc) eventhough he has never riden a motorcycle. And the only 1100 Yamaha makes is a cruiser, what was he thinking??

f.y.i. when jay-z's first albums came out they were put on shelves in suburbia to make white kids feel special and hard. it was like rap for beginners.

needless to say i bought duplicates of each album.

i post here for car audio and thats that, but at the age of 27 now ive done many things with music in my life...im not saying im big, but on a regular monthly basis i do get checks from ascap, not big checks, small royalties...but i do still get them...like i said, flip over a record...hitup pumpkinhead on myspace ask em about rtillaree and nemo, he'll tell the stories...dont bug me...but this just happens top be a topic im fairly well versed in...

well i just listed my rap. I also have GNR, Metallica, Priest, Sabbath. have cash a nin at home but not really something I listen to while driving and I dont care for jimmy buffet type music. ohh and anyone with a system probably has three 6 in their car LOL I bet everyone with bass has late night tip right now near their car LOL.
