Well, he should have clarified that he ment Remote to the amp, so guy didn't wire it to the remote on his HU.

All that would do is feed constant 12V to the switch. No reason it wouldn't work.

It is a simple switch for gods sake. I have three of them wired in my car and they work fine.

I know it's hard to see, but this is the type of switch in my car. Wire the prong all the way to the right to the HU's ACC so the switch will only have power when the car is on. Wire the prong on the left directly to the ground of the battery. Wire the prong in the middle to the remote input on your amp.

ACC goes to the **** amp

ground goes to a frikkin ground
