Anyone who really thinks terrorists are going to raise the bar.. just ask yourself how come we do nothing at the borders except roll out the freaking welcome mat!. Doesnt make alot of sense does it!?!

Sounds crazy but I wish there was individual salary cap on this country. If you need anymore than however many million per year you should be tarred feathered and shot.

I think that is the point Acidic missed, real wages have fallen in the past 20 years.

It's true but I don't think it's as dramatic as people think... I suppose it's time for me to go look it up rather than generalizing....

IMO they should of just re-developed the whole 9/11 site instead of wasting all that prime real estate. The real tribute would be for new workers to get in there in a new trade complex and make some cold hard american cash again.

I mean c'mon. I went to school, studied hard, learn different investing strategies because folks like T. Boone Pickens, Eddie Lambert, etc made over $1 billion in a single year. It's because of folks like that I play the game. I could be breaking into your house, but no. I see a path created by great investors in front of me and think..."Ya know, that may be a better path. I work hard, make good business decisions, and be greatly rewarded."

But this clown stupid *** here wants to make a cap on wages. So no matter how good my choices, how hard I work, how well I use my talents, how well I pay $$$ out the *** to be a better informed investor, it doesn't matter because of the salary cap. How do you justify the garbage spewing from you lips?

The same reasons CEOs make a lot of money...not because they are worth it, but because people from the mail room up with work hard thinking that if they are good enough, they can be CEO as well.

I believe that Socialism is a very good concept and I would love to see it in practice, but I also understand the natural greed that makes Socialism fail. I don't think I'm socialist; I would say I try to view everything with a Secular view (both in a religious and non-religious context) while trying to take in as much from each viewpont as possible. There are no real answers out there; just different interpretations.

Uhh.. you can see it in practice.. it's the latest fad across the pond in Europe.... and socialism doesn't naturally fail, it's just horrifically inefficient... Pure communism is setup for inevitable failure however...

Not to mention the USA is not exactly devoid of socialism... we spend over a trillion a year on social programs..........

Wages are determined by scarcity of labor....

The pool of capable human beings that can run a multinational, multibillion dollar firm and be successful is very small.... it's the same way for professional athletes... So why cap wages? It'll just create a labor shortage in highly skilled labor pools...
