yeah the only thing i did not like was the surround. tho the v2 models have that taken care of, with a slim tall style.

Another note, the title of this thread says something about 3" peak to peak... Im looking at the subwoofer manual for the Storm subs right now and it lista a .435 inch one was xmax... that doesnt add up to 3" peak to peak

it better be capable of producing more than an inch of travel.... or that surround is retarded

3" P2P may be it's mechanical limits, not it's linear limits.

we wallsocketed one of those 15" la storms, the socket got hot, and it tripped the circuit breaker(??) one tough sub yo.

It doesnt look like that bad of a sub for the money IMO

The drawback has to be the small cone area though...

lightning audio was a good company anything pre 2004 and not bolt series is good. But u also have to be able to read the subtle stuff. LIke in there bolt line only buy thing with a B not a P (p= generic). My brother upgrade to 2 strike vc^2 on an lightning audio 600.2 amp. Shit sound nice as hell. Before that he had 2 mmats procast with an 800 watt amp.

p.s. i have not had much experice with theses other brands like RE,SS, BA, brahama. But lightning audio i do kno. If u have any question feel free to ask me.
