Lightning Audio Storm subs..... (the big one with 3"p-p)

ive been looking around online/ebay and have came across a few of these lighting audio storm 10/12's and dont really now what to think of them. they seem pretty decent, especially for 130-165 a peice. just not too sure. has anyone had had personal expierience with them? normally id steer clear of lightning audio crap, but this one might be an expection so i figured id ask about it.

how would you compare it to one of your brahma's? ive had tons of expierience with brahma's but none with the storm

they have the brahma beat in loudness, sq is ok. these subs are just **** mean,

Are you guys serious? This lightning audio (the company known to be SH!T) can compete with the likes of a brahma?

Maybe I have to pick up one of them to replace my cvr...

all I have to say is... that surround is massive. I doubt the cone area is any greater than that of a 6.5" speaker.

considering i have both brahma 15 and strom 15, both played in sealed and proted, strom LOUDER, brahma Cleaner

Again, the Storm series is not the typical Lightning Audio equipment.

Another note, the title of this thread says something about 3" peak to peak... Im looking at the subwoofer manual for the Storm subs right now and it lista a .435 inch one was xmax... that doesnt add up to 3" peak to peak

yeah the only thing i did not like was the surround. tho the v2 models have that taken care of, with a slim tall style.
