Lightest Sound Deadener??

The thinner, the lighter when it comes to things of the same composition.

Just make sure it is butyl and not asphalt. Especially for a moving piece such as the tailgate. Significantly higher release point //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

So many companies will have a thinner version. Is your primary concern the tailgate pistons not supporting the added weight?

We don't make Damplifier Lite anymore, however our new Damplifier is going to weigh about the same as the old Damplifier Lite did.

The foil has been increased and the adhesive has been beefed up, so it is thinner, lighter and stronger.

For light weight products there are lots of good one on the market.

Raammat BXT II is supposed to be pretty light.

Dynamat Super Lite is low in weight also.

Dons cld tiles when used as he suggests is a light weight option as well.

hope that helps
