Let's talk DD Audio

I thought Id give an opportunity for others to read what went down, possibly open back up the discussion. Not exactly sure how long it takes before a thread is closed, but this seemed to be the main thread on the forum concerning Digital Designs. There aren't many. As for the comments, got way too many good things going on in my life write now to be bothered, sorry. Wish you all peace though.
Don't know what this forum did before you came along....

And a "Search" function..... pfffftt

You are The Man, without a doubt. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm interested in opening it back up Jaguar. Danny's doing 3 M3B's on 6 SC 3512's. dropping my truck off Sunday !!!
Interesting, really, that sounds like an incredible setup. With subs like that, I'm curious to know what type of speakers you run on the doors.

Talked to a Digital Designs dealer here in GA today for pricing. Apparently the 2512a's I made reference to in another thread recently are the

older models in the 2500series. The latest model, I'm told are the 2512c's. Can't imagine what improvements might have been made, from a

to c, have any idea? Anyways, I might just call or write Digital Designs to find out. The prices I was quoted are 2500's series $252.00 a sub.

I asked about the 3500's, not that I'm looking for that much power, but because I was curious and thought someone here might like to know,

I'm told the 3512g's were 414.00 per woofer. For anyone else reading this that might be interested, the 2500's are the 12" 800Rms subs, and

the 3500's are 12" 1200Rms series. The peak on the 2500's series (800Rms woofer) is listed as 3200 on the site.

Whatever you do, make sure to get the supercharged option, it adds a shorting ring which is supposed to lower inductance which gives it batter transitional capabilities aka sounds more musical. The s/c option is also supposed to make the sub more efficient on low power. I have a supercharged 2515c laying around that I will soon be putting in the car whenever I decide to stop being so lazy and build a box, I will be sure to post plenty of vids and meter results when its in.

Thought I would include that photo from the other thread, In case anyone that doesn't know about subs from Digital Designs is curious.

There is no need to post so much like that for them. Just about anyone that is around the mobile audio forums knows what DD is and where to find images.

Besides that, those images were taken while I worked there...which means they are old images.

Thanks for the info. Do you remember paying for the ''supercharged'' option, If so how much. @kushy_dreams

They are subs I am really considering buying right now, if the images are not accurate, that is another matter though, you are right.
I'll write DD and see if I can get photo's of the newer models. @pro\-rabbit

There are images of the newer models all over the net including here. Just use the search feature or google.

You posted the images 3 times now with more and more crap from the website..why don't you just screen capture their whole site and post it..would be faster then you posting 10 posts one after another of the same thing.

Instead of pestering everyone with BS search and use google to find what you want to know. If you don't find an answer to a question you have then post up. There are several people here who know more about DD then anyone currently employed there.

Not sure about 3kwrms for long term, but I have been running my 2 DD3515E's on 2-2.5kwrms for over 3 years.

First on 2 IA20.1's strapped @ 1.5ohm, and now on 2 DD M2a's. Still 100% after 3+years. 150+ daily @ 38hz.

I have run 3 DD3515E's @ 1ohm (d1.5ohm) on a DD Z2HV for 6-8months. They got a little stinky on that much power after LONG play.

They took 1/4ohm for burps just fine, 155-156ish dB.

Any idiot can kill any sub though. I've seen customers do it...lol.

Why don't you go search google, because I did and that's what I up with. As far as posting the same image more than once, It was accidental.

I have no reason to search. I know there is a ton of info about DD on the forums including this one so you didn't search very good or long. There is a search feature for a very good reason.

So far all I have seen is trolling about DD and not asking anything other then pricing which should be up to you to get from your local dealer.

Contacting DD about past product or tech info is useless right now as only one person is still there from more then a year ago and he is only a customer service specialist..another words very limited knowledge other then basic customer service.

Bullshit man **** you. Post one link on CA that is discussing the 2512c. You act like you founded Digital Designs, and got so tired of it you fired yourself.

The part you're missing is it's not all about you. What you don't know is it's not all about you. Other people who haven't heard or don't know much about

Digital Designs might want to learn more like me. Talk about, learn about the subs I want, all I want. Be considerate, all I ask we've always been good.
