Let's talk about Bluetooth amps

What do you guys think of this amp:

Here's my take on it:

As long as you are okay with playing your music through Bluetooth (phone or whatever), you DON'T even need a headunit! No RCA cables, no remote turn on lead, or wiring for a head unit. Wow, does this seem like a great idea. You could also use a tablet as your display instead of a phone.

Any thoughts on this?

Also, EIGHT bridgeable channels for 149.95 seems impossible to me.

Well there is no eq before the amp unless you have one on your phone. I bet the sound quality is diminished compared to a head unit. But still a nice unit

S/N shouldn't be a concern with BT audio streaming as long as it's a recent version of the BT codec and a good quality device streaming the audio. In the Android world it helps to look for aptX support, but a lot of BT receivers(I'm speaking in general, not just of head units) willl lack aptX support as it requires a certain chip on the circuit board. Apple will not buy these BT chips so they do not support aptX.

Second best is to have BT 3.0 or newer support. This is when higher bandwidth came into the picture, which should result in better sound quality for music.

99.9% of the music in my car comes from aptX. I have a head unit with large buttons and a massive volume knob. Playing wirelessly off your phone means you will control the volume by grabbing the phone or by adding a small control panel in arm's reach.
