The references dont get loud, thats the only beef i have with them. They cant take over RMS either.

The CRV will stomp on them in terms of output.

oh i am not even tryign to say that a cvr wont kill the reference in output //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif but for SQ on the other hand I woudl pick a reference over a cvr

I was bumpin the Type-R's today and all of a sudden the output died and they started making a flapping sound, I thought the cone had come loose on one of them.. Then when I looked at em playing, they seemed fine, and the window in the box was still in place, port was fine, but the subs were making a strange scraping sound and there was the smell of SPL dust pretty strong.. got an idea what that's about? 720 rms a piece right now.

CVR's are not for sound quality but they will get loud in a single cab

i say a couple RE8's in there would be nice, small dont need alot of room, and you have more than enough power for them
