I was coming back from a long road trip. Doug either said 2890 or 2980...pretty sure it was 2890...and again I dont care if you believe me or not. Both numbers are very respectful.

That is fine. Id rather not fight either. I know what I was told and I know that I trust the tester.

LOL. What I'm asking is are you sure your voltage dropped to 12v on the test. It would make sense if your starting voltage was 12v and dropped from there.

It was on a 12v system and I dont have the specifics.

it was like 5800rms for a pair strapped at 1ohm 16v IIRC and rise was like 3.5ohm I think.

Ill try and spend more time finding them later tonight.

seems to be spot on with what scottiej says they do. he said 7.5-8k at 1 ohm on 17v .

yea im just wondering, cause i remember in that dallas build thread he said he was wired down to .175. im just wondering if this time its at a little bit more reasonable load lol
