theyre from 2000 i think.

input? underrated? snagged one up from a friend that needed some money. may throw it in the gfs car if she wanted a little more power for her fronts than hu power or use it myself...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

i had a 250a2 and 150a2 from that era. they are underrated. i beleive the 150 and 120 had a common gain for both channels. the 250 and bigger had independent gain per channel. um. i saw 250s do from 374 to 424rms. 150 was 220 i think. so 120 would be less but still ideal for your situation. I ran mine at 2 ohms mono, with the back off and fans blowing on it, at different times. never killed them....

shit.

this does have the single gain knob. i snagged it from him for $40. only thing is that his ex got into an accident and the sub slid and pulled the terminals out just a bit. i opened it up (still had the warranty sticker on it) and everything looked fine. im just looking for a cheap but decent set of 6.5 so i can hook it up.

also , it is dull on what used to be the shiney part on the heatsink, ill take a pic later if need be, but what should i use to clean it off?

when i was trying to find specs for the one im selling i found this, its just one person but it might give you a little more insight...

I actually tried to kill the 120a2 and I couldn't. I didn't pay much for it and it was under waranty, so I thought what the heck, I'll see what this thing can handle. First I wired it mono to two 12" 4 ohm subs wired in parallel for a 2 ohm mono load, now keep in mind that that amp is rated as 4 ohm stable in mono. I know most good amps can go lower than what they're rated at, but you might have to put a fan on them. Well not only didn't I put a fan on it, I actually put a carpeted floor mat on top of it then a large cardboard box full of magazines on top of that, you can't get much more hidden than that. There was basically nowhere for the heat to go and I ran it like that in the summer at full volume for up to an hour at a time everyday for about 3 months. And believe it or not it did not even shut off once. You probably don't believe this and I probably wouldn't either if I hadn't seen it myself, but its true. I then gave up and sold it to a kid I worked with and he's been using it ever since with no problems.
