Les Claypool touring again with Primus, niiice

I never really could get into primus, not my type of music.
funk metal isnt for everyone

who the hell is claypool and primus? I'm guessing they are some sort of rapper? what happened to people using normal names.
that is probably the most uncultured thing i have ever heard.

les claypool is the modern hendrix of the bass guitar. its an aquired taste, but much like a quality wine.

here's a whamola jam, pretty much the same thing as the newer southpark theme.

this song is the ****ing jam:

Les Claypool - One Better (Part 1)(Live) | Free Music Videos - Watch Music Videos Online | Veoh

search for part two.....

oct 5th. 8pm. tabernacle. tickets are $40 a piece.

My system sounds great off Laquerhead, john the fisherman, and booneville stop.

this song is awesome. listen to the bass solo starts around 1min 40sec.....its *****in on a good front stage with midbass //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

YouTube - ‪Les Claypool - Iowan Gal‬‎

also a *****in song for bass

let me guess, self proclaimed right?
I don't know what he calls himself, but like the style or not, he's one of the most talented bassists to date.

Les Claypool is the King of Bass because of his insane Bass guitar skills that rival most normal guitarists. Primus was a band that had a funky style to describe it best with crazy videos like Wynona's Big Brown Beaver.
this^

^good for a lawl

PRIMUS SUCKS!!!!!

I demo 'My name is Mud' in the van from time to time, lol.
Those **** Blue Collar Tweakers has a great bass line too. what freq does your van peak?

$40 doesn't sound the best... but the last time I saw him it was also $40 for him, Matisyahu, and a set by Dub Treo (yahu's dub band that played with him on the live @ stubbs cd). Best ****ing show I've been to in years. Well, well worth the $40 to see him again. A hell of alot better show than SOAD for $75 and Metallica for $125, that's for god **** sure. Claypool is the shit, and if you live anywhere near this show and don't go you ****... and should drag yourself and K&M with you to be enlightened. I love seeing artists that are even better live than they are in the studio. Totally worth the 8 hour each way drive, gas, hotel, and whatever else needed to make this happen.

Side note. Live at Stubbs is an awesome album, but majority of all his other studio work is a little over produced. His live show this time around was more hip-hop focused and not so much dub incorporating like I had hoped for. But hey the guy's gotta switch up his act every few years, it happens.
