My 2 week old nephew had to go in for emergency surgery a couple hours ago. He had a hernia. They had to remove a testicle. The thing is, today he went in for his 2 week checkup, and before he went in, he was fine. Once he got out, all he did was scream, throw up, and not eat at all. My sister went to change him, and noticed a huge lump close to his thing. I took them to the emergency room, and they told her that he needs surgery because he had a hernia, but they couldn't do it at that hospital, because they didn't have a pediatric surgeon. I took them to the hospital where he was born, and they remove the lump, and the testicle. I'm wondering what type of attorney they need to contact because they think the nurse that did the check up, put too much pressure on the area, causing the hernia. I'm assuming a medical practice attorney, but I'm in no way a legal expert, and should not give any advice, without doing some research. Any help would be appreciated, as we will be contacting the law office of the attorney tomorrow.

he also could have caused it by screaming as well though. Yes, you may have a case but itll be a tough one. You need to find an attorney that specializes in Medical Malpractice I imagine. Just watch TV between 9am and 3pm, youll see plenty of commercials.

Wait so they took one nut then took the other during the second surgery?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
x2 I am confused....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif:confused:

sounds like you're after a quick buck. you are the reason why good nurses don't stay in the nursing field. they too ofter go to work that some ******* like you is going to sue them. hernia's are caused by straining probably when he was screaming. if someone can induce a hernia by putting pressure on their abdomen area, every wrestler and football player would have one.

Good luck filing that one, sorry for your nephew but shouldnt his parents be the ones looking for a lawyer and as mentioned, good luck proving it.

I think you should look for the best tax attorney, immigration attorney, estate attorney, and/or the best family law attorney. Don't consider a personal injury attorney they are not relevant to this issue.

You cried at your 2 week checkup as well.

Hard crying and throwing up can cause a hernia. Especially in a 2 week old with brittle insides.

I'm a lawyer and I've had hernia surgery before.

I still have both of my banana balls. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

Yeah, but the problem with that theory is the kid can't sue himself. Stick to what you know. The kid has a hernia and one nut. Life gives us so few opportunities, you can't miss a chance to get ahead.
