I have a Legacy 2000 watt amp (in reality probably about 400 watts) that i purchased for $20 (not a bad deal) and i must admit that this amp is really crappy. It's 4 ohm stable bridged and it pushes 200 rms x2 @ 4 ohms. For being rated at a 2000 watt amp i believe thats pretty shitty but as far as a 400 watt amp its not bad. But what I don't get is why don't Legacy just rate their amps at about 1/5th of what their rated at? Legacy's aren't really bad amps just highly over-rated. If any one has anything to say about Legacy feel free to speak your mind.

I use this Legacy 2000 (#LA1080) for my comps and it is REALLY LOUD. But i wouldn't make the mistake of getting this amp for subs... its a P.O.S.

because no one would buy them.......most people who buy those amps at regular price don't know much about car audio and think there getting the power rating which is usually a large rating.

But anyways... if some one gave me a legacy amp for free...I wouldn't want it. Actually..if i got it for free...i'd set it on fire and throw it off the 10th floor balcony.

if somebody GAVE me a legacy amp, i wouldn't set it on fire and throw it off the roof of a 10 story building, i'd sell it to some newb....no need to throw away a potential profit.......
