That's a typo, right from legacy's site it says:

4x75 @ 4

4 x 125 @ 2

I'm sure it's over-rated, but just the fact that it lists RMS numbers puts it a step above most legacy amps.

anywho - you said it worked for a while? and whenever you do it - it works for a while?

nah u mis-understood me... as soon as i turn on the sub my amp shuts off. When i said it worked for a while i meant it was working for about a month with no problems at all.

trust me it is a crappy amp its beautiful in appearance tho it has no scratches or any blemishes at all

Check the VC with a DMM or like you said you were going to do wait to hook up that other sub.

exactly right, i took the sub out the box and hooked it up directly to the amp and i heard it rattling... the voiecoil is shot to hell so i guess its time for some new subs but this time im going for better i was going to get 2 15's but that would incinerate my trunk and its good to have a spare (may need it) so im going to get 2 12's and i should be back in buisness. I dont have that much to spend on them due to the fact i want them now so i think i may get some Volfenhags. I never heard of them and i dont know how their going to sound but they seem to be ok

well ive got a legacy amp and its done me fine for over a year....u guys say its shitty the only bad thing is that its over rated..maybe ur guys amps r shitty but mines not...

my amp isin't really bad either and im still in awe that i blew that Pioneer 12, it was a pretty nasty beast and now its decease... I'm getting a plaque to hang up my blown 12 on my wall.. its the first sub i ever blew so i got that sentimental thing goin on... yall feel me on dis i know yall do, right???

Also It works out for the best cuz now instead of having just one 12 im going to have 2 12's hitting. Maybe i might get lucky and hit 100 db's with that Legacy amp... never know anythings possible...

Just wait till i get my Rockford bd1500... i bet i blow my 2 new 12's

ohh yea also when i get my rockford im going to use my 2000 legacy for my comps

You might have blown the sub from clipping the signal. Trust me I had a LA1990 as my first amp and it clipped like a mofo. Still have it in my girls car but trust me. You have to be very carefull with that amp.
