left subwoofer doesnt work???

hey guys, i wired everything correctly and my subs have been working great lately but this morning when i went out to my car i noticed a considerable loss in bass....i popped my trunk and my left subwoofer wasnt moving at all....im sooooo pissed:verymad:

maybe the sub lost contact on one of the cabels, most likely so..if thats not the case, check it with a dmm if its fried or not

Not hooked up prolly. If you can push on the cone and it moves.

I am uncertain if you can fry the coil and the sub still moves...the 2 subs I fried would not move.

i dont think its fried cause i fiddled around with the speaker wires a bit and it started to work, but then just stopped....

Take it out of the enclosure and hook it up and see if it works then. So you can see all the connections.

ok....i took the woofer out and when i did it started working again....but on and off.....i found that when i pull the wires in the back of the speaker tight that it works fine....

problem solved guys thanx....all i had to do was cut and then strip the wires and put them back it their place..
