Left side speakers went out

I installed and amp and sub in my truck and a couple of days later, the left side went out. It goes in and out but mostly out. It does not go all the way out, there is still faint sound coming out. The sub does the same thing at the same time. I disconnected the amp in case it was taking all the power. I checked the wiring to see if there was any exposed wire and nothing. I have kicker component speakers up front and factory in back. Could it be the actual head unit?

sounds like a loose connection on the terminal of the speaker.. does it do it when you turn, accelerate, etc. or just randomly? more details please..
