left side speaker output very low..

hey my buddy just got speakers installed at a shop and the driver side has barly any output while the passanger shines..they are hooked up to a 4ch amp anyone have any quick things i could look for?!?

The amp probaly has two gain-controls on it. The driver's side gain is probaly set lower than the passengar side. Get a DMM and set them both to the same voltage.

L/R balance control on the deck?

adjust the fader and balance on the hu.
