Left side amp, and a Right side amp option

I'm sorting out a system for my new van, I'm thinking i should use my two 4 channel ms-A1004 amps split 1 for each side, rather than the normal way.

It seems like id have perfect separation which should give better imaging, stage... Is there any down side to doing this?

Left side amp = 120 watts tweets; 120 watts 4"midrange; bridged 400watts for midbass

Right side amp = 120 watts tweets; 120 watts 4"midrange; bridged 400watts for midbass
