LED help....

I'm going to be installing these in my car...

Amazon.com: Flexible Lighting Strip 300 SMD LED Ribbon 5 Meter or 16.4 Ft 12 volt BLUE, 2026BU: Home & Garden

I want to wire it to my 115v, 400w/100w outlet in the back of the car so I can turn them on/off with the factory switch.

I found this...

Amazon.com: Ledwholesalers 30 Watt LED Power Suppply Driver Transformer 120 to 12 Volt DC Output, 3207: Home Improvement

Would this be my best bet? If not how else could I do it?

Problem is I don't want to run them constantly when the car is on but I don't want to run another switch. I have power in the rear via an outlet that already has a switch installed up front. I just need to figure out how to run it off the outlet.

What if I run the power from my battery and the groun from my switch?

I'd run a wire form your battery to a switch you can buy at pep boys or any other auto place and run them off that. that'd what we do in all the installs around here. Then you can choose to have them on and off at your convenience from your driver's seat.

pics of my buddy's xb like that

no dont use the outlet in the back use a 12v circuit for 12v leds, if that doesnt make sense or you are to lazy to wire a switch then dont do it at all

That should work I'd imagine.
