has ne one had a problem with thier leaf springs. like explorers. mine sits low on the rear end and i want it fixed. does ne one know how to fit this. i was lookin at "leaf spring helpers" but i dont know if they will workhttp://www.autonav2000.com/images/ScrapBook/Ford_98_Explorer_750Nav_1.jpg

looks like this but about 2-3 inches lower in the back. with nothing in it

what can i do to fix this
no ****ing gay *** helper springs. fix it right. either buy new oem leaf springs of go to a junk yard and pick up some off a lower mileage ex. new oem is expensive, but good used junkyard springs are $80 for a set (your price will vary and ive heard as low as $40 to as high as $150).

do you have a sport? if so, i rec pulling some springs off a 4 door, since they use a multi leaf instead of our sports weak *** mono leaf. my buddies explorer has 215k on it now with the stock springs (4 door).

i dont plan on keepin it for that much longer, gits 170,000 miles but still runs like a champ. i just did the ball joint last week and time for the back end since im almost done with my build. subs and box will be about 200-250lbs. so if the helpers will hold up for say a year it would be perfect

thanks for the quick replies

they will hold up for the life of the vehicle as they are springs...a band-aid would be putting a longer shackle on to make up for the height instead of the leaf's inability to hold the load.
