Laying down batteries

Haha cool thanks guys. This will save me a lot of troubles. Buck, that design you just sent me looks good man. I'll be emailing you sometime tomorrow with some questions. Nothing major.

 
I've read that even with sealed batteries, you don't want to go upside down with them. Any other orientation is okay though. I couldn't tell you why, it was a few years ago when I read that and I don't recall the entire ordeal. I'm sure you can research it and find out but as long as you're not going to put it upside down (which wouldn't make sense because that'd take up the same amount of space as leaving it right-side-up) you don't have to worry about it. Just make sure it's secure and do not jump your car with that battery connected, should they drain.
