Looking for a older snapper with the motor in the back. Those are sweep and last forever.

I heard Simplicity are supposed to be great. Older mowers seem to be quite popular as well. Still lots of folks buying new craftsman and being very happy with them. I am just about finished rebuilding a craftsman for my 1/2acre yard. Paid $200 for it and have about $500 total into it now. Full tear down and powder coated. Just gotta put the deck together now. Push mower ftl.

yea, i would prefer yo get one of those old snappers with the motor in the rear...they are cool and my uncle has one, never had any problems out of it.

You don't have a lot of choices with that low of a budget. Up your budget to $2000 and get yourself a used commercial walk behind. That will last you and your one lawn the rest of your days.
