Lawnmowers?

I wouldn't mess with any of those style riding mowers, even the Deer's donr have great long term reliability.
Guess a self propelled push mower would be cheapest, its just...I'm the one who has to cut the grass...and 2.5 acres is alot to push..Lots of hills too.

Like I said, buy a sulkie.

Its a platform with wheels that attatches to the walk behinds so you dont actually have to walk, we have them on both our walk behinds.

3 years ago I purchased a Cub Cadet "Tank" Zero turn mower, 48" deck, 20hp honda motor.. I love it. I paid just over $5700 for it, brand new w/ 3 year warranty. I can mow my 3.5 acre yard in about 1.5 hours (faster if I'm going full tilt, but I take it slow and do a good job), as opposed to close to 4 on my older John Deere garden tractor w/ a 52" deck.

edit: didn't see the price range, sorry

Yea...But I would love to have one, but I'd have to start cutting grass around town if I spent that much.

I'd imagine so.

I'm just saying that they seem to be a decent brand. The thing never died all the years we had it. We ended up getting rid of it cause my mom wanted mexicans to mow our lawn for some stupid reason. Worked like new the last time I ever used it.
