laughing gas and getting teeth cut out

let me start off by saying i dont have a high tolerence for pain but im not a lil punk about it.i can take it pretty good.but i've had to teeth pulled and 1st time i got 9 shots and 2nd tooth i got 12 and both times it felt like i wasnt numb that much anybody ever experienced that?i think something is wrong with my gums to where they dont get numb easy.so i told myself next i was gonna do iv sedation but seeing as how i cant afford it im gonna do laughing gas,i've heard nothing but great things about it but now im kinda nervous about being sedated and not being able to say anything if it hurts.and im getting it surgically removed instead of pulled so im asking for your GOOD laughing gas and dentist stories cause theres not alot im scared of but im really nervous about it lol

Nah dude. It hurts a lot with the gas. You see and feel them pull the teeth out. The good part is, if you don't like blood, you'll probably just pass out.

the gas did nothing for me i was kinda loopy but still knew what was going on and could feel it. nothings better than waking up in your own bed after getting teeth pulled. or atleast thats always what happens to me. but my girlfriend and mom had to dress me apparently both times I went but thats no biggie haha //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

The pain shots they give never work for me.

The last two times I had cavities worked on. I was given about 4-5 shots boths times. About 2 shots where they put the needle in your cheek and the other 2-3 directly into the gums. I could feel most all of the drilling. Hurt like a ***** but there was nothing I could do cause my mouth would barely numb up.

i got all 4 wisdom teeth cut out this mornin and i was put to sleep for it. All I remember is gettin the laughin gas which didnt do much for me so I dont know what the point of it was. THan they started the IV and put me to sleep, next thing I kno I am wakin up on my couch with gauze stuffed on my gums and a bottle of pain pills next to me.

Took about 5-6 shots on the top gums and 5-6 on the lower gums

dentist took em all out in an hour and I was on my way home, sure it hurt a bit. It wasn't near as bad as people make it out to be

I loved it, the dentist put that mask on my face and told me to breathe normal, then he walked out of the room. I was breathin in as hard as i could.

That aint nothin! I got SIX wisdom teeth pulled, drove myself home, and was chewing corn on the cob later that day.
