I think we should all pitch in together and buy Lemans one of those CNC machines......

But then the caulking industry would probably fall into shambles.....

That's sweet... we did a couple CNC things in high school in my advanced cad class. Alot of injection molding too.

The design for the speaker rings were taken from the JBL tweeters, I plan on puting a couple pairs of JBL components in there to match the rings and the amps. It shoud tie in quite nicely.

And yes they charged me to cut it out. But not nearly as much as you would think.

yes, yest it is. because you need to consider the time and effort he put into making it.

virtually none. it prolly took him a half hour to put together, and a day for it to dry. compeltly skipping all the measuring, cutting, recutting (if any measurements were off by an 1\8" or somthing stpuid) dry-building, clamping, and then starting the building process.

its all pre-cut and ready for a quick 'drop in' assembly. i cant see it taking any longer than 45 minutes to build and spot-fill.

imo - there needs to be a company who does this for a good price. that would be insane, just send your measurements, they design and cut the wood, and ship you the wood NON-BUILT. that would be sweet.

I was going to do that, but I needed the extra inch for clearance...lol....12.5" deep sub is hard to make a wedge box for...lol

I used to do CNC myself. Did you program the machine for that??
