If you are going to carry, you should carry all the time.

Only one of my uncles carries at work. He's up in Minnesota and grows Christmas trees. He's constantly going from farm to farm checking trees, and is often alone in the country. It makes sense for him to carry, because people squat.

One of my uncles does hardwood floors in Ames and the other does roofing/siding in Ames. It's a college town, and guns aren't allowed on campus. When they have jobs on campus or close (and they're driving through campus) it would be illegal for them to carry. It just doesn't make sense to carry at work, and their jobs are relatively safe.

When I'm not on campus, I'll always carry one when driving though, or at stores, ect.

Well obviously not everyone can carry at work, but outside of that, I carry anywhere I am going to come into contact with people that could go south. If I'm running to the store, gas station, etc...

God damn. What industry are you in?!? I carry a Sig P226 IWB on the hip. I have a standing desk, but when I chose to sit that would be uncomfortable. I don't like driving with it either because it will eventually **** my seat up. I want to build out my center console to hold it. I think I need to try other locations to wear it. I'm always in a button up shirt and shorts though so that limits my options.

I sell car insurance lol. but some of our offices are in rough area's and we deal with a good amount of cash.

I dont always carry on my person in the car. I usually keep the gun in the center console if i dont have it holstered. My old jeep, the seats were already jacked up so i didnt worry about that so much. I usually wear a polo and jeans or cargo shorts. Wearing a belt is easy for my daily wear. Carrying concealed inside the waistband is a little annoying for me cause my holster digs into my hip so i have to wear an under shirt. But when i carry outside the waist band that holster works great and i can wear it with basket ball shorts so long as it has a string that I can tie to hold everything up., i just wear longer shirts if I dont want anyone to see it.

I keep a Smith and Wesson M&P Shield 9 in my desk drawer with my cash and when I'm not at work, i carry my Ruger SR40. Its a little big for conceal/carry, but thankfully I'm a big guy and its not noticeable.

Yea, because its impossible to have rough parts in Tulsa. You are a prime example, stupidity is not limited to any single part of the country.

I have the silver at the moment. Probably going to upgrade to the platinum in the near future. 17.00 more / mo is worth it.

Safariland® Model 7378 7TS this is the style of the one i got. I think it was the same brand also. its designed for a belt, but i wear i can wear it with basket ball shorts with a string to hold them up (basiclly, the string serves as the belt since there is a small plastic hook that catches on the belt to hold it in place when you draw)

bought mine at bass pro shop.
