how do slims sound? i've only heard the JL tw5 and it was ok but nothing spectacular especially for the price. what are the pro's and cons of shallow mounts?

yea. they are stoked to go home with the majority of awards. you can buy the drivers and have a box built or get one with a box. they also have 8's refference series. and those sound clean as fuck too.

any way i can get a t-line box made, or have the box aero ported anything like that so i can get some actual output.. after my tacoma im tired of so so bass.

I made a folded tline for my soundstream t5-12. came out very nice.

those cadence are DD 1508 clones i dont see a problemw ith that?

it was better than a sealed box for sq and low as ****. tline boxes are not tuned so there is no peaky feeling to it. just what you put into it. I though it is a good box. I still have it and plan to use it later for another sq build. down fall on tline is the size.

but you might be ok since that is a slim or if you chose 8's you could do 2 subs at maybe 3/4 cubes in the main chamber . The trick is the use of polyfill. I can send you a plans for mine and you can see how you would have to make yours similar to it.
